CSA Share Update:
We had planned to have Blackberry Meadows organic spinach in your share this week however plans changed quickly over the weekend. Unfortunately, with the wintry mix we experienced, the spinach was too frozen to harvest. I know, we were looking forward to the spinach too! We’re hopeful the spinach will be back for one of our January shares.
As a last minute substitution we’ve added our very own Penn’s Corner Hot Pepper Jelly in place of the spinach. Conveniently, it pairs well with the River View Dairy chevre on fresh bread or a cracker. The combination makes a lovely appetizer, midday snack, late night snack, or gift for your gracious host during your holiday celebrations.
