Tips for transplanting your parsley:  Parsley can be planted in a pot or a garden. It needs at least five hours of sun per day. Water in-ground parsley deeply once every week. Water container parsley whenever the top of the soil feels dry to the touch. Cut leaves from the outer portions of the plant whenever you need them. Leave the inner portions of the plant to mature.
